Tokyo Views: Part 5

Tokyo2016-281There are endless places you can go to in Tokyo for an amazing night time view, and I’m a sucker for a good view accompanied by a cocktail.

Sky Lounge Stellar Garden, The Prince Park Hotel
4-8-1 Shibakoen, Minato – Akabanebashi Station

The Sky Lounge Stellar Garden is located on the 33rd floor of The Prince Park Tower. This was not the hotel we stayed in (sadly) but you can waltz into the main entrance and head straight up to the 33rd floor. You will be greeted and directed to the bar.

We sat at the bar which was a little further from the windows, but I think you have to book in advance to sit on the tables next to the windows for a closer view – however our view was still stunning. As the night sky started to fall you slowly start to see Tokyo lighting up, and not to mention the grand Tokyo Tower just moments away.

The cocktails were just above London prices so we only stayed for one – and I have to admit the cocktails weren’t amazing, but the atmosphere and view makes up for it all.

Park Hotel Tokyo
Shiodome Station

We stayed at the Park Hotel, the whole hotel offers amazing views like this. It’s the kind of hotel that caters to 4 star guests but provides some 5 star touches if you have the extra money. Also, I don’t have a picture to go with this, but the pastry shop located on the ground floor of the hotel is phenomenal and a MUST, it’s called Tateru Yoshino.

All of the staff in the hotel are incredibly polite and helpful, including a tourist adviser that spoke good English to help and advise me on some of the places I had researched about. The slight downside was the food/drink/breakfast was all a little pricey in comparison to the awesome food you can get outside of the hotel.

Meiji Jingu (Shrine in Shibuya)
1-1 Yoyogi Kamizonocho, Shibuya – Harajuku Station

[A short ending to my Tokyo adventures, but with a great view. Check out my other Tokyo posts for ramen, cakes and coffee recommendations which are far more extensive]
